Yes, I definitely do! My mother was into antique jewellery and had quite an impressive and valuable collection of it that she bought herself or that was passed on to her from older women in the family.
Yes, I have several though I have now lost two rings.
My most precious is a 1 carat diamond of very good quality that my Uncle in Germany brought to Australia. He was a jeweller and I also have a pendant he made out of a shilling when he came to Australia.
I also have several other pieces of jewellery and the most beautiful dinner sets from my parents which they brought from Germany also.
We inherited a lot of things when my partner's mum died. Some of it is quite old - from her parents or grandparents. I don't think my partner has ever fully gone through it all, so I'm not really sure what's there. I don't really have anything from my side of the family.
My Mother's mother had an American Silver Dollar brooch. I've had it made into a pendant.
My Grandmother's really tiny Engagement diamonds, plus my Mother's Engagement & Anniversary Diamonds, I've had made into a beautiful ring of my design.
I designed all my jewellery, & then had it made by my jeweller.
