I own both however havent used the juicer in more than a year or even two.
The blender almost does the same thing and I actually bought the juicer after I had cancer and someone told me to juice carrots, I think it was, every morning -can't even remember.
The blender I use often because I do not have a food processor -looked at them but couldnt decide which one to get so didnt get one.....
Blender is really handy however you cannot get a lot of the food out from the bottom unlike a processor.
I have both but, just like Finy, I have not used the juicer in years. With new research (or good old common sense) showing that juicing takes the best goodies out, I would much rather use the blender to whizz up my fruit and veges for juice. . . . the lumpy bits that might be left in don't scare me. Hahaha.
True, Finy, but my silly processor seems to want to throw liquid out so I would sooner fight with the blender a bit than mop up the mess. The processor is a Big Oscar and they have no gasket to seal them completely. I wonder if that is the universe's way of saying, "Just eat the damned food as it is!" Hahahahaha.
I have both, but the blender is over at my neighbours as she hasn't got one and she was making Pumpkin soup for the kids one day.I don't ever seem to use these gadgets much,so I have just left it over there!! She shares her yummy goodies with me often,so I think it is fair that she use my blender when she needs to!!It's so much better than just sitting on my bench!!!! The juicer is another item I haven't used in years.I just eat my fruit whole!!! Hee hee hee!!!!!
I have a dinky little blender which I use every morning to chop up my apple and nuts to add to yoghurt for breakfast. It cost me all of $15 at Big w and I have another in the cupboard as I am sure this one cant last for ever!
With all the cleaning up involved, my juicer has been living in a dark corner of my kitchen cupboards for a couple of years now. It was taken over by a rocket blender which is easier to wash up and gets used almost every day.
I had both but gave my fantastic blender to my granddaughter as she didn't have one and we'd bought a new gadget that does everything so useless keeping the blender. However I did use the blender often.
