aa-coffee machine

I could not be without my coffee machine as I cannot drink Instant coffee.

What is your preference and what brand of machine do you have, and why? Mine is a Royal Saeco, and I bought this model as it makes very hot coffee, cleans itself and has a good choice of coffees.

I prefer the espresso coffee made by a barista. Otherwise it is tea, not coffee. Don't like instant coffee!
No I do not drink coffee.

Only herbal Tea...or...Hot Milo.
Neither. I love Sydney and Melbourne cafes for my caffeine hits.
So do I justine, that is why I bought my own machine -it is like going to a coffee shop!

I only get up in the morning because my coffee needs me. Because of its constant need for my attention I bought it a deLonghi pump espresso. Better than cafe coffee, I must say, and much cheaper.
Neither, I'm a tea drinker. I used to have a coffee machine but mostly I just used it to make hot chocolate. It was nice being able to make the froth. Since it broke down I've never bothered replacing it.
We dont have coffee machine.I love instant coffee.
Neither, so I drink tea at home and only have coffee when I'm out.

I only drink coffee when I need to, i.e. very rarely. When I do, it is instant coffee. I usually stick to my chilled chocolate milk. In fact, I need one now.

Life's too short to drink bad coffee. It's the cafe for me.
We have a machine - I need 2 short blacks as soon as I wake up - then I'm done for the day. I couldn't spend $6 a day on coffee (not that buying beans saves you that much) nor could I wait til after 9...We had a seaco for about 8 years, then we got some new fancy one (isomatic? clearly I didn't buy it) and the seaco came on holidays with us, but too much time in the boot of the car caused damage so it eventually died. My mum got a nespresso machine so we now have her old seaco for back up....
I like instant coffee at home. When I go out to a cafe I enjoy a cappuccino because it is a treat. Recently I went to a cafe that made a latte called a 'tangello' (with orange peel in it). That was a delicious treat, different.
Marie -that sounds nice! do you live in Australia? which State?
It is nice to get new ideas

Hi Finy, I live in South Australia. The cafe is in Melbourne Street at North Adelaide. I read about 'tangelo' in Weekend Notes and had to try it for myself.
Very rarely have coffee (instant) at home. Prefer Iced Coffee with Bickford's mixture.
Usually have a pot of tea.
Keep 'nice' coffee for being out at a Cafe, so have either cup or mug of 'Cino or mocchacino......
I drink tea, great on a hot day..
coffee sometimes and then made with milk.,
always drink coffee when out that's only because no one can make a decent cup of tea.

Yes, and could not live without it!

We bought a nice small Nesspresso for our limited bench space, to use with the pods. Then we bought an Aldi 1 to keep at the in-lays. They they moved to a much smaller house, where we can’t stay the night anymore, so we had to bring the machine & coffee pods home again! I had always used 1kilo packs of coffee beans, or ground coffee for the percolator. before I found out about the pods. I would NEVER drink instant coffee, i drink latte’s in cafes, about once a fortnight.
Oh! Finy, the mental picture I had of your machine cleaning itself!

Rub-dub-dub in the tub, with stick-sponge all soaped up! Lol!
I have a capsule machine, and I love it, I don't think I would go back to drinking instant, I had it one evening at my son's school, yuk! I couldn't drink it!
