Sadly my 24 yr old son, has other ideas, and needs the complete opposite :(

For me I really would like in a perffffect world say 2 full hours, just silence...On waking.
Ohhhhh . .. the heavenly bliss. Silence. We would be great visitors . . . .we would just nod as we passed and drag ourselves to the kettle. Hahahahahaha

No I dont really.
I have a problem sometimes when grandchildren sleep over as the noise is not nice early in the morning, however I am basically a morning person and OK once I am up.

Not good till I get up but once up OK! I guess I have quiet time after I wake and before I get up as I stay in bed usually about 30 minutes after I wake.

Only a fool would speak to me when I first get up. Even the dogs know I am not likely to speak for a while though I do feed them as soon as I get up. Clever kids. After two cups of tea it is safe.

I've had one big one this morning so it's a bit safe now. I was up quite early and prepared a week's worth of dog's meals . . . put out the flags!! LOL

No. Not really. I just get up, have breakfast and do what needs to be done. I like to get up and start the day pretty much straight away. It is not always possible to have quiet time when I wake, unless my husband is asleep after his night shift.
Ha! I have two young kids, not likely to get quiet time in the morning.
Yes indeed. I need to collect my thoughts and prepare for the day. I am usually up by 4am everyday.
I can start chatting as soon as I get up. I don't need quiet time in the morning.

When I wake in the morning, I say my prayers being thankful for a brand new day. I also spend the time reading my Bible. That's my quiet time first thing in the morning.
I'm fine. Just glad to wake and see another day👩
Absolutely. At least one hour.

Coffee time is quiet time in our house. My wife and I both need abut an hour of quiet time before truly starting our day. This is also the amount of time it usually takes us to drink a pot of coffee, so it works out ;)
I get up at 6 every day and go out into the peace and quiet of my garden for an hour or so of 'MY' time, which I enjoy so very much! The 3 dogs usually join me at some stage ,and I find this a very special part of my day. I really love to just have the sound of the birds as they get started for their day,and would not feel so relaxed and cheerful if I did not do this each morning.
Yes,when I wake up I want some quiet hours,so I slip inside the blanket no matter I sleep or wake up.
Yes, enough to really wake up and do some important stretches.
Farley
Definitely. I love to have my coffee and watch a movie before I start my day.
Yes. Unfortunately, there's no such thing with a small child in the house. And there will be much less once Number Two comes along.

I just wake up, look at my latest emails, then get up & dress to go walking with my friend at 8am. After that, it's a bit of gardening, as I walk back up to the house, shower, make my breakfast & take it back to bed.
