Do you make your own fruit salad or buy it ready made?

Is there a fruit that you ALWAYS put in it, and do you eat ice cream or cream with it?

I used to often buy it, however I never do now.

I always buy the fruit and I actually no longer often make fruit salad now that I am on my own -I just eat the fruit as is.

However I tend to always use either strawberries or an apple in a fruit salad, as you cannot always get strawberries that are nice.

I'm with you Finy - I tend just to eat the fruit whole and by itself. If I did want or need one though, I would prefer to make it myself... You just know exactly what is in it and can customise the ingredients according to requirements.
Sometimes I make my own. I've only bought it if I was in a cafe or something, not to take home. I like banana and passionfruit as a combination. I don't eat ice cream.
I don't make fruit salad much, and mainly will buy it.
My son is not that keen, so it really is just for me.
I have become very lazy cooking for myself, and soooo just cook for my son, food that he likes.
Which is not always what I eat :)
I don't ever really make a fruit salad. I do have natural yoghurt with fresh blueberries and grapes almost everyday but that's not really much of a fruit salad.

I always make my own as opposed to buying it. I don't like it with ice cream. Very rarely I might have cream with it, or sometimes plain greek yoghurt. I always put strawberries in if I possibly can and I love fresh pineapple in there.

I make a fruit salad every week. It usually contains pineapple, Apple, satsumas, kiwis, grapes, lychees, and sometimes mango. I buy the whole fruit and prepare it myself rather than buying pre-packaged fruit. Seems silly to me doing that.
I also add orange squash to it, but I very very rarely have fruit salad with anything. 99% of the time I have it by itself.
I always make my own fruit salad. I put lots of different fruits into it but I have to buy what is seasonal, otherwise it would be very costly to make. I don't usually serve it with cream, ice cream or yoghurt !!! It is a fruit salad and I make it for the fruit. I made it quite a bit around Christmas as we had parties every weekend in December. I did whip up a big bowl of cream to go with it, but no one ate it. I think people are trying to eat healthier.
I always make my own as I don't eat watermelon (which seems to be dominant in bought ones) nor mango. I use all fruits that are in season but like to add banana last as it does go brown eventually even if you squeeze lemon or orange juice over it. Most times we eat it as it is and on occasions I have had it with icecream or canned evaporated milk for something different.
I always make it with oranges, apples bananas, pineapple and sultanas. I don't like strawberries or raspberries that much. Definitely whipped cream and sometimes custard and ice cream (vanilla) so it doesn't compete for flavour
I make my own mix of favourite fruits which are in season. But like many people who live alone these days,I tend to just eat whatever fruit I want by itself when I feel like it. Something I do enjoy is mixing lots of fresh passionfruit pulp with chopped ripe strawberries, and a touch of proper yummy brown sugar!! I will eat this by the bowlful when the ingredients are available!!! Here in the tropics,I rarely have problems sourcing extremely lovely fruit!
I make my own. Usually blueberries, strawberries raspberries, red and green grapes, throw in a few dates and prunes too. I make up a big bowl and put it in the fridge, and then fill a smaller bowl from it when I want a fruit hit - don't put it anything in it - eat it on its own as it is pretty filling.
Neither, as I tend to eat fruit singularly.

At moment, I'm enjoying the abundance of various stone fruit, well chilled, of course!

And no, I don't have cream, or ice-cream on any.
I always make my own. Oranges, apples, banana, strawberries, rockmelon, pineapple and last batch included some fresh peach. I sprinkle it with caster sugar, put the leak proof lid on then turn the bowl upside down until ready for serving (as my mum used to do) to keep everything moist. Yum!
Truth be told, I have never bought nor made fruit salad. Will do and will put cream or something in it.

Always homemade.

I always make my own so that I can have the fruit I like in it. Plus it is so easy. Easier than savoury salads.
Store bought 4 me
I couldn't be bothered getting all the fruit together and then preparing it when I know a lot of it will end up in the bin.er compost.
