Thanks for that reminder, Jules. I stopped buying it because I was finding it over sweet also, but now you've mentioned the croissants, (that we only eat once a month,) I'll have to go out & buy some more, but only in a small jar. And we have Streets vanilla ice-cream in the freezer, for special occasions, so I'll serve a bit over that as well. It would also be nice on light rye/white breads, & homemade pancakes also. Last time I had some, I was eating of a teaspoon!
Oh, so THAT's why I stopped buying it! Those naughty calories have slipped onto my backside now, even without me eating this stuff! Perhaps I shan't go out & buy another lot of it, as I've just told Jules I was going to do. I haven't eaten it for a couple of years now, Vuroz.
Oh, Miro!! You only need to have a small jar for emergency treats!!! The strawberries are all coming into their prime here in Qld, and I simply cannot go past one dipped in this yummy chocolatey treat!!! But then, I can have it in my pantry and it shall last for ages as I can walk straight past it!!
I used to eat both, Gayle. I'd eat a teaspoon of (only) crunchy peanut butter, nearly every day, but now I can't eat any pp, due to my asthma. I've also been taken off sweet food, flour & diary as well, as potatoes, sweet potatoes & mushrooms! I wouldn't try this 'diet' with though without seeing a naturopath, as I'm doing. I'm also taking tablets every day to stop my hunger! Ops, sorry Gayle, I'm WAY off the subject here!
