Urban Photography (Image by DMedina via morgueFile)
Urban photography has become a genre in it's own right. Urban or street photography concerns itself with the way people live within their urban environment rather than the city or the people themselves.
What do you think of it? Do you like it? Have you done some urban photography yourself?
I haven't consciously done any but having read your description then yes, I have done some! I find cities fascinating and often snap away happily at all sorts of bizarre things that catch my eye. Some of them would fit the urban photography description I'm sure.
I do like it, and understand it.
It is Art..and that is something I can't pass up
looking at different expressions.
I find it has a life of it's own, and even if I have not done it myself, I do like it very much.
The application is really quite endless too!
LOVE it!!! :)
I have attempted to direct more of my photography towards the urban photography theme. I'm not great at it, but I'm trying to get better at it. I am such a huge fan of this style of photography and regularly gain inspiration from Instagram accounts to get my technique right.
Feel free to have a look at my Insta profile for examples:
yes, i'm a lover of good urban photography- and I do like the photo above.
I'm especially a fan of black and white photography, and if industrial is included, all the better. Some photos we once took at Hoppers Crossing in Vic.,turned out well,
atmospheric. Loved them
