Yep. You have to know how to cook it, but it's very versatile and you can do a lot with it once you do. We use the firm stuff marinated in stir fries and sometimes curry, and silken tofu (the soft squishy kind) works well in desserts like chocolate mousse.
I quite like it in stir fries. I also have a nice sweet and sour tofu recipe. We haven't had tofu since before we had our children. We were going through a vegetarian phase. We were talking about it last night. Maybe we could have it again when my daughter is out for dinner sometime
Yes I love tofu, especially now my vegetarian daughter cooks it. i never thing thing to buy it myself, as i don’t know what sort to buy, as there are 2 or 3 different kinds. It is lovely in a stir fry though.Thank you Jennifer Muirhead for answering my question, before I’d even mentioned it!
