Do you like raw salmon, tuna or other fish in sushi rolls or would you rather eat a cooked meat in them, or do you prefer vegetarian rolls?

I like a mix of both - too much raw and I get a bit sick, but cooked meat isn't really sushi is it? I love salmon with cream cheese - though that's probably not traditional either, LOL.

Yes it is, raw fish is called sashimi, the way we eat it all rolled up or balled up or whatever is sushi.

Oh! So, it's still sushi if it is cooked?! Well, clearly I am just so knowledgeable on this topic, lol!

Thanks for clearing that up for me, meggf. ;)

I've tried, honestly I have - but I really can't bring myself to eat sushi. I cant see the attraction of bits of fish in soggy rice. Maybe I just haven't had a good one yet.
colmo, if you've had it in soggy rice then no, you probably haven't eaten good sushi, lol.

I absolutely LOVE raw fish!!!
I won't eat any kind of raw meat or fish.
I love raw fish and the cooked vegetarian fillings in sushi.
I eat almost anything and would never say YUK to food!

We have the most brilliant sushi place in Perth that has very DIFFERENT fillings including potato and mayo and all sorts of things I have never before heard of with sushi -there is a line to get in there however as it is only a small place, but yes I like any sushi raw or cooked.

I prefer the vegetarian and cooked tuna fillings but I don't mind the raw salmon and avo on occasion.
I've never had sushi roll, but if I did I would have it with cooked fish.
Sushi leaves me cold. Can't stand it. Too prone to food/tummy upsets apparently. Clean/hygienic preparation????
Hate sushi; believe too many problems with its' possibly germ effects on the human body!

Cooked, definitely!
