No, I don't particularly like playing cards, which is very odd as both my parents and my brother all love it! My parents used to play canasta at least twice a week with friends plus several more times together at home!
It was suggested once that perhaps I was swapped at birth as I had none of the tendancies the same as the rest of the family
We still play cards regularly mainly Cribbage and shit head. I taught my daughter to play cribbage when she was 6. It was the basis of her now amazing basic arithmetic, Cards are an important game to play with your children. Brilliant to build communication skills, entertain the kids on train trips in restaurants and just about anywhere. Keep your electronic gadgets give me a pack of cards any day
