This year I really love the mangoes -usually I cannot be bothered as have a problem cutting them and throw so much out.

I have made two lovely recipes (on RecipeYum) already using mangoes and they go very well with a lot of ingredients in cooking.

I loooove magoes, every time I pass a veg shop I pick one up and smell it! naughty I know...it gives me great pleasure.
Am not smart enough to use in cooking but don't do much exotic cooking on my own anyway (unlike you Finy the master!)

I LOVE THEM!
No I haven't used in cooking, I really like them fresh, to eat as a fruit.
Yes, and no. I've never tried, though I do have an interesting curry recipe that requires mango. I would love to try it.

I used mangoes regularly in salads. It means that you need to add any salad dressing when they are added

Mangoes are like weeds up here!!! I always end up losing more to the bats and the possums than what I eat myself or manage to share with others!! I love drying them more than anything else! Properly dehydrated mangoes are such a sweet treat and make the best gift for people who live far away as they weigh almost nothing! Very Moreish indeed, full of natural fibre and also of course sugar!! But Oh!!! so Yummy!!! They can be used for sweet and savoury dishes, fresh frozen or dried, and are something which I NEVER spend money on EVER!!!!
I love mangoes but as a fruit. Not in cooking.
LOVE mangoes !! But I eat them just as a fruit.
I love mangos, but I have never used them in cooking. Mainly salads.
A green mango salad never goes astray. It's a fantastic Thai side dish that we highly recommend.
I use mangoes for salads, drink, desserts, preserves and just eating fresh. I have tried to bake with it but it did not turn out well, it tasted like cornmeal.

I LOOOVE mangoes. I sometimes have a mango after dinner. I also cook with it at times, with a meat and adding coconut milk. Yum

Gently warm ( not cook or boil) slices of mango with a little finely grated ginger and a sprinkle of cinnamon then keeping slices intact , drape them over vanilla ice cream.
FINAL TOUCH sprinkle a few jewel like pomegranate seeds over the top for colour contrast and sparkling bursts of tartness in the velvety deliciousness of the mango . Easy, fast and WONDERFULLY decadent.

I do like mangos. I use them in morning smoothies. I've never cooked with them, but would be interested in trying it out.
Fortunately my Mango Tree produced a dozen huge 'bullock hearts'! I L O V E Mangoes, cold & cubed & eaten over sink!
Don't use them in cooking, just have them a la naturel! Yum!
I just had one covered in double cream. Mmmm. I have never cooked with them.
