I LOVE lemon butter - like most sweets made with lemons or limes.
Sadly though this is another sweet food that I no longer eat due to its high sugar content.

I used to make my own and it was so simple - I did it in the microwave and only took several minutes to make.

The photo makes me want to rush out and make a batch!

I tried your recipe and it was very nice. Thanks for sharing it.
#Ditto Finy . . .almost word for word. LOL. I have never made my own (that I can recall). My mother actually made really good lemon butter. . . . it was quite often the bright spot in yet another dismal batch of scones and/or rock cakes. Heehee.

I make my own when making lemon meringue pie and lemon tarts
Yes I like it. I've never made it

When I have had a glut of citrus I have made my own. It is delicious but one of the foods I need to avoid.
It's something mum made regularly when we werd kids which she filled the butterfly cakes she made with. I'm not fussed on it.
Yes, I do like it. I used to make my own, years ago, when lemons were a little cheaper, but now I buy it from Coles or Woolies. (Aldi doesn't seem to sell it, & they don't even sell large bottles of tonic water, or capers!)

Yes, I like lemon butter but as others have said, don't have it often because of the high sugar content. Many years ago I used to make it. Back then I used to make my own jam, marmalade, sauce, chutney and pickles.
Not a huge fan.

But usually It has been gifted to me and I will usually put it in a pie of some sorts
I have a lime tree that produces a lot of fruit so sometimes I make lime curd. It's a bit of work, but it does use up a lot of limes.
