I made the one in the photo and if you like jelly, it is DELICIOUS - it has a creamy middle inbetween each layer and it took me almost a day to make as you have to wait till each layer sets before making the next one.
VERY impressive for visitors and my grandson came over to stay especially to eat it!

I like jelly though by mistake bought the low sugar one which I threw out - it has that awful artificial sugar type taste.
I also do not like some of the flavours - dont generally like green but in the above it was all lovely.
I also like it best with cream on top!

That looks very interesting Finy :)

I don't like green jelly either, Finy ^_^

That's a labour of love, Finy! Your lucky grandson! Green is my favourite flavour, if it isn't artificially coloured, but I haven't made any jelly for many years now.

I don't like jelly that much. I don't mind the red one. The only time I have jelly is when I put it in my trifle at Christmas.
I LOVE A GOOD TRIFLE :)
The Jelly comes alive ~ wow ~

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yeah . . . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:) I would love some right now ~~~~~

Raspberry jelly with cream . . . or a whole trifle!! Not that I eat either any more as I am not allowed :(

You can get diabetic jelly. I'm not sure what it tastes like, but if you really like jelly, it's better than nothing

hmmmm . . must look to see which sweeteners they use. :-))

Although I am not keen on jelly on its own it can be good with other things like fruit or as a top layer. I had a piece of cheesecake with a top layer of jelly the other day and that was delicious. It is certainly nice in a trifle. I like raspberry jelly best.
I haven't made any jelly for years, but lime is my favourite flavour. I love it in a good truffle at Christmas!

I'm not mad on sweet jellies as in photo. I love aspic, like on top of pate etc. and usually eat it all before i start on the pate.
Port wine is my favourite flavour.
You're right helga . . . ! I think raspberry and port wine are my equal first. Mmmm

Yummy! I like port wine or lime, but would probably eat most. Where can I find the recipe for the slice in the photo? Looks great!
Finy made it herself so maybe she posted it on Recipe Yum . . . ? Come on Finy . . . out with your secrets. LOL

I'm not a huge fan of jelly. It just seems weird. Everyone else in my family likes it so I'm clearly the odd one out
I don't really like jelly

I haven't had jelly for ages, if I had to picka flavour, it would be the red one.
Diana, Would that be, raspberry, strawberry or wine red jelly?
by Miro
I don't like jelly but it is the texture rather than the flavour that I don't like. Also knowing that gelatine (which it of course contains) is made from animal bones and joints puts me off!
