I am a natural born sweet tooth if there is such a thing!
I used to love sweet things
now, I have weaned myself off these delightful things more or less.
I cook differently and do not make a cake every week, or eat sweet biscuits as well, every day.
I need to cut down my sugar levels, so had to do this
A friend once said to me that sugar is "white death"!

Yes! I love a pavlova, cheesecake or chocolate cake etc I would choose them over a bag of lollies.
I also love savoury foods. As they say, everything in moderation :)
YES!! Such a terrible problem to have.
I try and be good.. but.... that doesn't always work out lol
I do not. I am limiting myself to prevent future problems and also to set a good example for my children. With the rates of childhood obesity and diabetes as they are I do not want my children to develop a poor diet. We do however have biscuits regularly and birthday cake as the occasion arises. There are other occasional treats to satisfy the sweet tooth.
I do like dessert and chocolate. I don't really like cake and biscuits or ice cream. I am trying to wean myself off sugary things and carbohydrates. Neither are any good for you. I find it very hard to give up chocolate, but have found no sugar varieties at the health food store so this is okay for me to eat.
Ahh yes the ''white death''....no I'm careful, because its a danger for our health.

It really should only be sold in small pkt's, and 4 times expensive....seriously!

No. Sometimes I get a craving for something sweet. My go to sweet is a chocolate bar.

I do like biscuits and cakes but don't have them in the house. I do crave something sweet after lunch. I might have some custard with fruit or honey on yoghurt. I don't add sugar to food. I sometimes keep dark chocolate in the fridge for a moment of weakness. I can eat a small piece and leave it. If it was milk chocolate or biscuits I would gobble the lot.
I tend to go for pickles and cheese or fresh fruit rather than very sweet stuff, though I do enjoy the sweet items when I indulge!! I always have chocolate in my house, but I easily just enjoy a small piece and leave the rest for another time!!! Just because it is there, does not mean it has to all be eaten straight away. As a kid I was taught to 'make treats last' as my pocket money was exceptionally meagre! I have never pigged out and over- eaten sweet stuff that I can recall. Even when I have attended buffets, the luscious desserts have not been anywhere near being my favourite part! Fortunately my son has always been similar in his tastes! As a child, I never had to waste lots of money on Easter Eggs as they would just never get eaten unless we had visitors! I remember him doing an Easter Egg Hunt and giving his huge bounty to all the other kids!!! When I do have cake or desserts they are usually very fruity and tangy with lemon, passion fruit or berries, and I do not need sweet sauces or ice cream to go with them! Am I sweet enough, or do I need sweetening up?!!!!!! ha ha ha ha!!!!
Definitely not a sugar fan as I prefer savoury foods.
I do enjoy sweet things, especially chocolate, but I also try to be good, I will go through a sugar craving hit, then once I've had enough, that's it until the next time.
Short answer no, not anymore. I weaned myself from the white death earlier this year after watching a doco on the dangers of too much sugar in the diet! Since I have cut back, I no longer look or crave for sweet things on daily basis as before. Now it is a nice chocolate treat occasionally, don't like overly sweet cakes or biscuits either.
No, not often these days. We'll have something sweet for afternoon tea, & occasionally we'll have ice cream. I may have a piece of dark chocolate with ginger, fudge or a piece of liquorish. I don't have sugar on my cereal, nor in my tea or coffee. I do have brown sugar on porridge though, & every once in a while I'll have a slice of white bread with butter & brown sugar! We'll share a square of dark Lindt, some nights, or have a little square each of some other dark chocolate.
