Yes I used to love this and still do however I rarely eat it now as do not eat meat often.

I used to make both things quite regularly while I was a meat eater and can highly recommend it on toast or biscuits -I often put hard boiled eggs into my pate.

I adore both,though do not prepare them myself! I grew up in a home where both of my parents were excellent with preparing these items,and I've always continued to thoroughly enjoy them. And the iron as well as protein content is so beneficial too!!!

I make it at home but not often. My husband like liver a lot. I like liver with onions too..

No I find it to be a strange rather metallic taste and so prefer not to have irt.
I love Pate!
No never made it myself, I just would not go there.

My mum used to make her own pate and it was disgusting. Everyone else her generation loved it but it's not a popular taste with younger folks I find.
I didn't even like the smell of the livers cooking never mind the taste of finished product!
I do like some kinds of purchased pate though.

Heck no! Even when I ate meat I hated the idea of the way they mistreat the poultry (forcefeeding them to enlarge their livers) to make pate. It's so cruel. :(

Pate, have never made it myself! There're some really good commercial manufacturers' of it. I love pate, on hot buttered toast, with a cuppa!

I can remember the first time I had pate. It was at one of the top Restaurants, at the time circa 1973. I fell 'in love' with it, & enjoy some every few weeks', still!

Yes, but only to the pate`. Chicken liver pate is best with herbs such as thyme, sage, rosemary, chives also port and brandy, onion, butter for frying, cream for blending smooth or textured and is sensational on all toasted breads. Chicken livers and onions - no thanks not enough flavour.

We love pate and Aldi have some nice ones. Just tried duck liver and orange - delicious on toast.

When cooking Lamb's Fry, it can only be a very small piece from the Butcher (never a supermarket!), coz that can creep me out, too!

I love chicken pate on fresh bread. Livers? Not so much. I would have pate on my sandwiches at school, meanwhile the other kids would run from me.

Pate is made with Chicken livers - or duck/goose.
Home-made is much nicer, tastier, fresher and healthier than the usual commercial Pate.
Like Lamb's Fry with seasoned S&P+Herbs. Never tried Chicken Livers that way - it's a bit creepy.
Yes, I do love pate, but not chicken livers. I did make it years ago, but I donít think Iíve had it since then.
Yes love it especially Cognac flavoured Chicken Pate.
It is lovely on toast or on a crisp bread bun with ham off the bone.
I have never made Pate, I enjoy lightly fried sheep's liver, with bacon, lovely in a French bread stick.
