I love tiramisu!
I do not often make it, however this question has not stirred me on to make it....though i guess seeing as I no longer eat sugar, perhaps it is a no no. Will check it out as could use no added sugar recipe perhaps!
There is however, good and bad tiramisu - I have tasted both while out. I possibly prefer my own anyway as I use the proper European cheese and do not put my liqueur in it.
I have probably had no more than six pieces in my life (sorry, Miro) and I like the texture but . . . it has coffee in it. I drink coffee quite happily but have never been a lover of coffee flavoured things. Weird, I know. It is something I can't explain.
That's quite alright, Rice. To each their own. I can't eat it now, any way. I did buy a large 1 once a few years ago, & took it to a family dinner for 1 of my birthdays. it was really YUMMY, but now I can't eat, flour, dairy, most sugars ( & 1/2 a dozen vegetables,) I can't eat Tiramisu anymore, but I enjoyed it very much when I could eat it. My last 2 I had were from...Aldi!
