No, I no longer eat baked beans even though I like them from the tin.

They upset my stomach which a lot of foods do as I get older!

So, while I like baked beans, I do not eat them.
I have also made them myself and they were delicious with no preservatives, colouring etc though mine had no sugar in them!

I love them to death . . . and they now upset my stomach :((((( I think they must have changed or added something, Finy.

No! I have always disliked them immensely!! I must admit though, that I have on the odd occasion enjoyed delicious Home Made ones. Totally different thing altogether!!
Not any more, I just can't eat them.

Sad because I use to love them on toast and with a egg....but just one of those things one can't eat as time go's by :)
I wonder what has happened to us. (or them . . ?) Sad. I miss my beans. My nephew's wife makes her own and they are to DIE for and they don't affect me at all. (Yippee!)

Fairly often, yes. They're a good quick food for the kids or me if I'm in a hurry (on toast, in toasted sandwiches, on baked potatoes, that sort of thing).
Yes
Yes. I like them. They make a great lunchtime snack on toast, and they keep me feeling full for hours, so no snacking. I would not say that I have them regularly, just now and again.
I like them on toast with full breakfast or in a jaffle as mum used to make years ago when we were kids. Todays sandwich makers just aren't the same.
Hi helga, because they're not made of cast iron anymore! Cheers.

You're so right Donjo. We even used the jaffle iron over our camp fires. Ahhh...those were the days!

Aaaah! so true! Cheers!

I enjoy them now & again, on toast, or with (must be) fresh bread, with plenty of pepper!
Have with a hot 'cuppa'! Yummo!
Ewwww! Yuck! Have never liked them. Though my brother would eat them cold, out of the tin. Gross.
Yes I do have them on toast for a quick snack
Grandchildren have them for breakfast with a boiled egg before they go to school
I like them but I don't eat them regularly

No I don't. I don't have any intention of doing so. I don't know how anyone could like them. They remind me of England and a lack of choice of food. I do know they are (meant) to be good for you. So noI don't eat them, I think they are revolting.
No, don't like them - not the tinned stuff in tomato sauce. I eat a variety of lentils and beans though cooked the way I like them.
Not for years! I used to like 'next day' baked bean sandwiches with black pepper!
Thanks for the reminder :-)
I love baked beans and eat them regularly. I went through a phase when I didn't - that was after WYD in Sydney. We ate baked beans every day for a week. It was nauseating.

Yes we have them occasionally for dinner, if we've been out for a hot lunch, but I'd rather eat tin spaghetti on toast than tin baked beans on toast. I also love them with lots of ground black pepper.

I've since served them with bacon, a fired egg on top, & parsley! So easy to make, when you've arrived home late from somewhere & are too tired to cook a proper dinner.
by Miro
As a quick and easy meal on toast or some times instead of veg.
Yes love them.
