No. Once in a while it is good to do so ( and so much relaxing when you just lie down and someone massages your face) but too much can be bad for your skin. If you are doing facial treatments to clear up your skin, unfortunately it is most likely that it is a waste of money. Chemical peels and microdermabrasion remove top layer of skin resulting in open pores which attract more dirt and bacteria. They do considerable damage to the skin cells.
Facials and masks done at home are good though especially when they are done using natural things like fruits or fuller earth clay !! No harsh chemicals .
I'm of the opinion that you're either blessed with good skin or you're not, and unfortunately I'm not. Sadly I think I inherited mine from my Mother (My father has great skin in his eighties!). It doesn't matter what I do it makes no difference. I look at people like Kathryn Hepburn, a natural beauty who only ever used soap and water on her face and her skin was lovely. I
I LOVE THEM.
Every woman should have one in her life.
If she is smart she will do it every 3 months, if money is a tad tight.
I just do them myself...but is NOT the same.
I fully recommend them, and you can look around for a good priced one.
Fortunately, I've been blessed with good skin, which has just been washed in soap & water, & I've used 'Oil of Ulan'('Olay' now!), then Revlon, now the former, & Nivea moisturiser, since I was 10 yo. That's also when I started using good quality Zeiss Sunglasses.
If I had an evening out with 'make-up' on, this was cleaned off with 'Lemon Delph' Astringent Liquid', then moisturised with their 'Milk' lotion. I've NEVER gone to bed with make-up still on! Yuck! Total anathema to me!
I don't have ANY 'crows' feet', & my face is as smooth as the 'proverbial'! I count myself extremely fortunate to have inherited those good 'genes'!
NO. I hadn't had 1 for a few years, because their now about $75 an hr, but I did have 1 the day before a family wedding in Bali 3 weeks ago actually, nearly next door to the place we were staying at, & that was lovely, & only Au$9 for the hour! When we return to Bali next year, & I'll have another 1 or 2.
