We don't have personalised plates. Personally, I don't think they're worth the money or the effort. The ads currently promoting them do a good job of making us feel guilty about not having them though.
No, but I'd always wanted to buy my husband a personalised No plate. In Victoria, Au, 1 only has to pay once for them. In NSW 1 has to pay $80 a year, which I think is VERY unfair. I had a few ideas for my husbands ones! 1 of them was the 1st 3 letters of each of our grand-daughters. (He liked that idea) & it was also my favourite evening drink. It was like a play-on-words I guess.
Helga, I'm only the passenger in our car, & I've been written down every personified No plate I've seen, since they 1st came out. A silly habit, esp' at my age! 1 of my younger sisters once asked if I"d stopped doing that, & I lied & said "YES", but of cause I haven't stopped doing it!
