I have had a walk in robe for many years now in each of the houses I have owned.

We often altered houses and if it did not have one, we would incorporate one. They are such a good idea and I love being able to walk in and see all my colour coded clothes and deciding what to wear each day.

LOL.

The day I ever get a walk in robe that will be the day!

I have a built in (in my bedroom) but it not only hold my clothes....but on the other side my son's.
I do have quite an elegant walk in robe in my bedroom. I think its a brilliant idea to have a separate room to house all your clothes, your handbags and your shoes. With plenty of space to hang or store folded items , Its easy to chose what to wear and when! Nothing goes unnoticed .
I would love a walk in wardrobe but I just have a regular wardrobe for my clothes

I have a standard type wardrobe and have never had one of the walk in variety. At the end of summer and winter I pack away some of that season's clothing in a case and hang items for the new season. I would love a walk in wardrobe.
We have built in wardrobes that are so big you can actually walk into them, although it's not really their intended purpose! The house we are about to move into has a proper walk in wardrobe and I'm getting quite excited about it :)
My partner and I have a tiny little wardrobe for the two of us, it's only a metre and a half long - I would love to have a walk in wardrobe.
I have floor to ceiling robes either side of the entrance to my lovely and very sizeable ensuite!!
I would love to have one. I think it would be so much more convenient than chests, and small closets.

No
How wonderful that would be!

I'd have a WHOLE room for my clothes, & shoes!
All sorted by Seasons, & colours for the clothes, & the shoes in each their own 'cubby' holes, in their boxes, with written contents facing outwards, again sorted into Seasons, daywear & evening wear!

Oh! What bliss, & ease!

Spent some time in Mexico City with friends, who literally had a mansion, & in my bedroom WAS a walk-in wardrobe. Loved it! Was very sorry to have to leave!
In my bedroom I have a wardrobe for my cloths, & my husband also has 1 for his cloths. I also have 2 chest-of-drawers, & my husband has 1. In an unused bedroom, I have a chest-of-drawers, for my cruise cloths, & a wardrobe for my shoes. My husband has a chest-of-drawers & wardrobe in his bedroom as well.
