Do you have a "Smart TV" i.e. one you can connect to the internet with and watch on a large screen?

If so do you use it for the internet, or catching up on TV shows via the internet?

Yes, I have two Smart TV's and I do watch the one in the bedroom regularly on the internet.

Also tried skype and a few other programmes on the TV however got impatient as it is way slower than my computer or I pad.

I don't think so. We run a computer into it to watch movies or youtube, but it can't connect to the net on its own, is that what a smart tv does?
Yes, megg -but is slower! you have it hooked to the wi fi

Nope, I finally got a flat screen a couple of months ago. Before that, I watched TV on my computer.

It's smart enough to turn itself off when I use the "sleep" function. If it gets any smarter than that I'm leaving home!
