I haven't got one...but I have been in houses that really needed one, and some house that with one are just wonderful.

They don't come cheap, but well...well...worth the money.
NO :( But I really wish I did!

When I have my own place, I'll make sure I install one or multiple in the rooms of my home :)
I installed two large skylights about twenty years ago. Only cleaned with the rain

No problems with bird excrement? LOL - that is my main concern.

No. But I have always loved the idea of a big skylight. Only thing is, I am afraid that it will break or that it would get shat on by birds - big time.

No, houses were not built with skylights when ours was built.
I do not have one, but would love to have skylights.
Not in my current home, but I have had one in the past. It popped right out when there was a very windy day - we came home to find it sitting in the neighbour's garden, which was a surprise to them and us!
Yes, I have one.

I had it put in shortly after moving into this house.
I have a huge hall and it was so dark that I had a very expemsive skylight put in.

After having had big ones put in on the farm, I vowed never again as the heat came through.

So this new one does not let heat through but lets heaps of light in and is only small.

It is fabulous and well worth the extra money not to be hot from a skylight.

I hadn't even considered the heat factor - it's certainly worth a thought. Thanks for weighing in, Finy.

No. Way too much trouble, & problems!
No, but I’d love to have 1 in our hallway. My mother has 1 in her small Paddington house, in the kitchen. I like taking photos though it of the clouds.
You should post one with your response. :)

Yes, have three in ym little old edwardian, 2 in corridor as was very dark and one in a small bedroom that was also dark. I think they are terrific and I have not problems with them. I get the 10 foot ladder out occasionally to clean them and thats it folks! LOL
I knew it would involve ladders, lol. Thanks for sharing.
