I don't have a mug with my name printed on it but both my sons have one. They were given theirs as gifts. Years ago I was given a pretty mug with my name on it which I used at home. Unfortunately it got broken.
No. No mugs with names on them.... though my husband has been given a few mugs over the years to celebrate particular occasions such as one that says "Doctor" when he was awarded his DPhil and another with "Godfather" on when he became a godfather. All from different people and no-one has ever given a similar mug to me. Make of that what you will :)
I don't have one with my name printed but the whole family has mugs with "Mum, Dad, Big sister, Little sister and Brother" written- These are printed in the language of the country we originally came from.
I do actually have a few of these, mainly given as gifts from very special friends many years ago.I also found several in an op shop very cheap.so I bought them! There is no chance that I will not be able to find my own mug when wanting one!!! Some are fine china and these are the ones I use.
Oh! Gayle, I've got one with 'Claude Debussycat' on it, with the words, 'I'm not fat, I'm fluffy'. It just cracks me up!
Have got another cat one, too, with 'of course I can multitask, I'm a female'!
My sense of humour! Cheers!
