I like most soups and do not really have a favorite. I also love experimenting with soups in cooking however sometimes I think I will only have soup for dinner but usually end up pigging out afterwards at night. But I do like soup...love my mother.s recipe for pea soup...thick and yummy.
Home made anything!
I make a very nice meat and veg soup.
It takes a few hours to cook on very slow, but well worth the effort, 2 servings for two people.
At times I also add a nice tub of Tabouli from my deli shop[, for the last hour of cooking...that really makes it very special.
Yes. Dislike thick, hearty soups - they are like thin stews to me. Like broth type creations with a little pasta. Least favourite soups = minestrone and pumpkin.
Favourites= tom yum, chicken giblet, beef tea, chicken and leek(not creamy). That's it.
I make a mean pumpkin soup as well as vegetable with meat or chicken in it, or just vegetable on its own as well as creamy chicken and corn soup. My family love my soups. I can't eat peas so my husband makes his own pea and hock soups.
