No. I don't go hiking, but I do go bushwalking ,sometimes in the nearby forest. I have never really been what you would call a hiker. It is nice to get out into nature, when the weather is good. You feel like you are all alone with nature.
hiking goes back to my girl guide days, nowadays hiking is confined to treking around coles or woolworths why do they have to have such long alleyways takes ages to shop, pay for it, then home exhausted. .
Thanks Rice, for filling me in on that 1, that Dwatk hadn't got around to telling me as yet!!! You don't like walking I gather? I love it, but only if I have my friend to walk with, or my iPod to listen too. Someone once told me, I should just be listening to the birds around me, instead of my iPod. They just maybe right!
my partner and I used to do some more intense bushwalking (I guess you could call it hiking!) when we were travelling and before we had children to cart around. Now we have to limit where we can go as our 4 year old has a tendency to run off...not good when out hiking!
