They say they do it when it gets t the depot but I do not quite believe this.
We are supposedly getting them this year but there is no way that I would fill a bin every two weeks, as I have worms and a lot of the scraps go to them and one person just does not make enough to fill a bin.
We have been provided a very regular size recycling bin that is collected every week. It never fills up to the brim. I have a lot of boxes and cardboard pieces that need to be recycled but it just won't fit in the bin, so even though I can fill it up, I still can't. I am finding it impossible to get rid of those boxes !
Our recycling is collected once every two weeks and although we don't have much in the paper section, the rest is always full to the brim! I'm super keen on recycling so anything we can't reuse but can recycle gets put in. As a consequence, our household waste bin is never full....
Yes. We recycle as much as possible and the bin is only collected every fortnight, so by then it is pretty full. After parties and Christmas, we have to push down the contents as much as possible. Our neighbour gives us permission to put some in their bin if ours is overflowing.
I think that in ten years at this house my recycle bin has only been full to the brim twice. It is collected fortnightly and most of the time it is about a third full. Maybe around Christmas it is a little more full.
