I used to fill out surveys for Valued Opinions to help pay for groceries, but I have not done one for months because I would spend so much time filling one out just before being screened out and paid nothing for my efforts.
Do you fill out surveys for extra money or have you done so in the past? If so, are there any websites you would recommend?
Yes, I do surveys for Nine Rewards. This year I have made about $100 which at the end of the year I have exchanged for JB Hi Fi or Chemist Warehouse gift cards. I then use these gift cards to purchase Christmas Gifts for family and friends.
Do I fill out surveys!
YES indeed i USED to -I still cannot get the money out of one or two of them -one now says you need a certain amount of points and while it is about $75 I am unable to get it out unless I do more surveys.
As you say Vee, you get screened out after doing sometimes 10 minutes work -I have emailed some of these companies asking them if they would work for $1 per hour and of course I do not get replies!
The pay is PATHETIC (yes I am screaming!). I have had a few Coles vouchers for $20 and was attempting to do about 5 or 6 per day with many companies.
So, while I know the names of many, I would not recommend any.
There was one I got $80 for but it went on for about 6 weeks and you had to write answers once a week -that one was worth it as it was fun but definitely not any of the other companies.
They also have the "sweepstakes" which you get entered into however I believe this is a scam in most instances.
I've been filling in surveys for Nine Rewards and QOR - I haven't checked my accounts for a while but I might have about $50.00 total. You really don't get much money for the amount of time spent, but I generally fill in one or two surveys when I have my "work" days.
No not for many years, I use to do test tasting...but have no idea now, where to enroll.
It was a great deal of fun, they would also supply wonderful sandwiches for lunch, and pay us $80-$100 for the test.
You could only do 2 a year if I remember rightly.
In the past.
Either were house callers, or organised & met at specific location. The latter was good, as sandwiches, soft drinks & coffee/tea provided plus cash $. Lasted about two hours. Haven't been 'called-up' for a few years', probably due work hours, couldn't attend, so name deleted? They were very enjoyable.
Yes I do. It doesn't pay well. If I do a lot, I might earn $50 every 6 months or so. However that's more than I earn looking at Pinterest! Every bit helps. Even when you don't qualify for the survey you get 150 points for attempting it. It adds up.
I thought this might be a good idea but they are not very transparent. Also, they get you to actually do the survey and then they say the data quota is full . . to get out of paying. I don't bother any more.
