Very occasionally I use tofu in cooking - I find it rather tasteless and sometimes difficult to cook with as it breaks up easily even though I buy the "hard" tofu.

I really like it when eating out and I think it is often friend or rather deep fried then, which I do not do.

The tastelessness is kind of the beauty of it as it will pick up the flavour of whatever you cook it in, so it marinates beautifully.
All the time. Tofu that is, I don't like the texture of tempeh. I use firm tofu in stir fries and silken tofu in desserts. I use soy based things like soy fillets (sort of faux chicken), sausages and tvp mince in other dishes.
i find the firm tofu even breaks up so easily in cooking -dont you?

Not really, no. Maybe it varies by brand?
I haven't had it in a VERY long time. It is very nice in stir fries with a spicy sauce and lots of veggies.

I don't think it is something that I would embrace to well, but for those who know how to use it, I say ''Good On Ya'' :)
My wife has used it in the past . it tasted nice. I think it was marinated first. Im more of a carnivore at heart.

I've never had tempeh or tofu, I wouldn't even know how to prepare them for cooking!
One of our favourite dishes is a Kylie Kwong's Ma Po Tofu. We substitute chicken for pork. It is delicious. It uses silken tofu which is cubed and added for the last 4minutes.
I enjoy tofu.

I have used tofu and quite often have it when I am out somewhere. I have only cooked with the firm tofu not the silken tofu and to my knowledge I have not had Tempeh. Note to self . . . Jennifer's soy fillets sound inviting.

Yes. I even eat it raw with soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and green onions for a healthy snack. My son loves this too.

The great thing about tofu is that is absorbs the flavor of whatever you put on it and cook it with.
No. Personally, I don't mind tofu, but my husband doesn't like it.
