Yes, after I had an accident, I was given them daily in hospital for a month, and no I probably take one a week only.
I would love to take one daily as it does take away my pain, however I prefer not to as they can do damage and have side effects, so I only take them when I ache and know I have to stand for longer than usual.
They work brilliantly on me, and the ones I now have are supposedly the easiest on your stomach and can be taken more often.
have not taken them for years, that was when I damaged my back was told must have an operation when I asked if it could be guaranteed was told no, so my answer was when I cannot walk I will have it. was sent to a physio who said it will take a a very long time so at 3 visits a week , decided to do the exercises at home as at his rooms it was very cold always had to take a jacket to put over myself as he had very cold air blasting down upon me (this was in the summer ) took about a year and a half to come good doing exercises at home and taking anti inflammatory's one was a prescription one and nurofen as a top up if needed.
The pain went from my back down my left leg
that was about 20 years ago.
I used to take anti-inflammatories for sciatica which would flare up about 4 times a year. In the end I felt that they were not doing much good. I feel that nothing helps sciatica. So I now, no longer take them.
