Anything that is savoury is my weakness albeit knowing these types of snacks are definitely terrible snack options. The preservatives, additives, salt and sugar used are questionable to what they're doing to our bodies let alone the calories being consumed. I never buy them but prefer to create an antipasto platter or cheese platter with crackers when entertaining with friends.
I love savoury snacks,though rather than these biscuits which are so well advertised as being 'baked not fried!', I will grab a handful of grapes,some cheese and my own marinated olives which I truly LOVE!!! I can easily just enjoy a handful of these crackers! But then I can usually just enjoy a small amount of MOST snack type foods.
This is my downfall....am not a sweet tooth very often and far prefer savoury SOOOO I have to try and resist these snacks. If I buy a large packet of crisps...I will eat the lot til my mouth is cut about and dripping!! yuk. Needless to say I only buy small packets, more expensive but too bad
Every day! I pace my food intake as I have to watch my blood sugar levels, so I have a small savoury snack mid morning. I also need high levels of salt due to low blood pressure and other health conditions, so it's a win win for me.
i have a box or 2 of the crackers in the pantry, but I can never be bothered opening them! But we do buy the packets of Aldi chips & eat those occasionally, esp' while the Tour de France is on tv late at night!
