We take it to out repair guy, and they fix it up.Mainly hard drives pack in .
That's about all that ever go's wrong.
Plus: we get a great discount, as my son when to school with the guy.
I have been with the same provider now 12 years....They are pretty good.
When I first got a desktop about 10 years ago I had to call my service provider quite a few times - OMG that sucked!! Now I just get my partner to deal with the IT problems as he knows about that stuff.
Lucky me! I have a good friend who has actually designed programs which he sold to Microsoft!!! So I just call him when I have any dramas!! Usually I feel pretty silly when he seems to be able to work lout my problems with his eyes almost shut!!! But Hey!!! It makes us both laugh a little and smiles are so good for the soul!!
We take ours to the Apple shop in our local West fields. No, they won't see it there & then, 1 has to take an appointment, & it could take a week! Very annoying. At the moment it has an awful muffling sound when you try to listen to iview or music on it, so we have to use earplugs to listen with, It also doesn't let me knew when an email comes through. We're taking to the Apple guy later this week. I hope they can fix it. It's only about 2 years old.
