Recently my chef partner made terrible dumplings. The next day I made brilliant, big fluffy ones. I enjoyed being smug! But I was only teasing, not being awful smug. I think smug can be fun when it's in good humour.
Being smug is a human trait, and we have all done it for sure.
When I have done it.....I know straight away, and wow!
Big personal check in need!!!!
Like, ''what was I thinking''?
But, it is a trait we sometimes have to watch very carefully.
I think it happens when we are tired, I know it does with me.
When people get older: because they have done sooo much, that nothing surprises them really.
That also can cause me to be smug, I have to admit.
No excuse, but I just have keep checking myself....and try harder.
