I like a good practical joke as much as the next person, but some 'pranks' go way too far.

Are you a fan of practical jokes? Have you ever been involved in a practical joke?

I have had a huge one pulled on me by my ex husband.
He may have thought it very funny....I did NOT.

I totally detest them, very much....at this stage in my life.
Practical Jokes are just THE pits!
Have never believed in them, & I wouldn't pull one on others'.

In this litigious age, people are pretty dumb to carry them out, because IF someone is hurt, the next call could be to a lawyer!

A few months' ago, there was a dog with a spider outfit on, & I couldn't help but laugh at that! It was clever! And nobody was hurt, it seems.
I'm ashamed to say that I pulled two practical jokes this April Fools, donjo. I led my sister to assume I was pregnant, she was so excited and I was absolutely mortified when I had to tell her that I was not. I then led my husband to assume I smashed the car. He was so angry. I suppose I didn't feel so bad about that one, because he could've been more concerned about whether I got hurt or not! LOL

Oh! Vee, you ARE naughty! Interesting response by your husband, though.

Reminds me of time in a car rally with friend, she was driving her Father's heavy, old Valiant, we had gone over some rocks, lost some gear & brake manoeuvrability. Her father was an Ambulanceman. He was ONLY concerned that we were ok, & said the car's easily fixed. Human's aren't. I've never forgotten his words, & that was 45 years' ago.

I enjoy playing practical jokes on others - but don't particularly like them getting done on me! Hypocrite alert!
I love practical jokes as long as they are not at my expense.
I don't mind if they are harmless however sometimes find I feel embarrassed if it is something simple and I should have seen through it.

Admittedly I have not had a lot of experience with this sort of thing and certainly not in the last 20 years....as we age we must become more sensible, or that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

No. I loathe and detest them. I do not think they are funny and frankly people should find a better use of their time than tormenting others in this way.
I am not a fan of the practical joke. I think I have a good sense of humour but I can't see the point of the practical joke or pulling someone's leg.
