Some people eat kiwi with the skin on, while others peel their kiwis before eating.

How do you eat your kiwi fruit?

It depends on what I'm in the mood for. As a child, I always ate kiwis with the skin off. I didn't even know you could eat them whole. When I met my husband, this changed. Now I tend to eat kiwis with the skins on to minimise waste.

Bravo to the no waste brigade :-))

Definitely, I peel the skin off before eating kiwi.
Yeah i eat it with the skin on.
LOL...WHAT!
With it's skin on?

I have never heard of such a thing?
Neither had I until I met my husband. It sounds totally bizarre, but makes sense once you think about it.

I cut them in half and scoop the flesh out.
Heck, I eat pumpkin skin so a little kiwi fruit skin doesn't scare me. LOL. In NZ it is routinely eaten "skin on". I tend to halve it and scoop it out with a small spoon but I am happy to eat a well washed one on occasion.

Skin off!
Don't like 'hairs'!
Took me a long time before I'd eat peaches', with skin on, same reason!
I love Kiwifruit but wouldn't dream of eating it with the skin on.
Cut them in half and spoon out the flesh, really enjoyable fruit.

Always with the skin off, particularly when using it on pavlova, otherwise cut in half and scooped out. Like some others, I don't like furry skin.
I know you can eat it with skin ON, but I can't do it ! Too hairy and coarse for my liking.
I always choose to eat kiwi fruit (also peaches) without the hairy skin. Sometimes I scoop the flesh out of kiwi fruit and sometimes i peel them.
I have never heard of eating the skin of a kiwi fruit.
It seems so tough and hairy!

It's weird because some of them certainly have a very tough stubble yet others have barely a fuzz.

I know the green ones can be very coarse, but the golden ones seem pretty hairless.

Skin off but I have read that the skin is full of antioxidants.
I wonder if pesticides and synthetic fertilisers counteract those...

I started eating them with the skin on, many years ago but these days I always cut the skin off because I can't eat the skins anymore!
