Everyone knows that children will grow up and stop believing in Santa Claus sooner or later.

Do you encourage the tradition in your family by dressing up as Santa Claus and delivering presents? Or do you save yourself from the hustle by letting your child know the truth?

I don't. I'm happy to dress someone else up as Santa, just not myself. My figure doesn't fit the costume anyway.
Personally don't, yet my nieces love doing so when they're handing out the presents to all family members on Christmas Day.
I don't have any children to dress up as, but I would never dress up as Santa Claus. If I did have kids, I would probably tell them that Santa is a mythical man who gives out presents. They can still enjoy the story of Santa, much in the same way they enjoy fairytales.
For a long time we have done away with Santa...we just not into him.
For many reasons. We don't think much of him, to tell the truth.
No, but I think it's so full on for those that do - points for enthusiasm, I say...though most kids would recognise their dad as Santa, wouldn't they?
No, we don't have somebody dress up as Santa. He still comes through the night down the chimney and leaves presents under our tree for the kids (though I think my kids will work it out this year because they've been asking a lot of questions). I do like to wear a Santa hat on Christmas day to hand out presents, but that's as far as I go.
No I sure do not.
