Sometimes I do. If I'm out with friends having a good time then no, but if I've just gone shopping and suddenly realise that I've spent hours milling about looking at things then, yes, I would cut the trip short.
It all depends. There are times I use public transport if I am wanting a late one, or just party closer to home - so I can just walk home. Sometimes I don't, and am happy to pay top price for parking. It can all depend on the function too.
In my case, I don't believe in paying for what I got for free at my local Westfield, for 34 years'.
It's just a 'matter of principle' for me!
$2 for 30 minutes', rip off! Pffft!
Do much of my shopping at a local medium sized shopping centre, where parking is free all day!
So the big 'un is missing out, but they couldn't care less & as my spend would be made up easily by others' paying parking costs!
