I have from time to time. Now I do a rough weekly guide of the kind of meat we'll eat each day, multiply it by 4 and go meat shopping once a month. I stick things in the freezer in order of when I plan to use it, then decide on the day what to make with it. It keeps us all interested in what we're eating.
I write on my laptop what I'm going to cook each day. Then I look up a recipe each day. We have vegetarian pasta 1 evening. each week. Each meal I cook, I date, so I don't make that meal again, for at least 12 months.There is only 2 of us at home, so this is an easy thing for me to do, but I don't think it would suit people who go out to work
