Have you ever called your partner the wrong name? Called them your exes name by mistake?
How did they respond, did you laugh or did it cause a fight?

My now husband made that mistake once when we were engaged.. Almost ended the relationship. I was SO angry I threw the ring back.
If I don't know someone's name then I'll not use it. And try and get away with it!
Hasn't happened yet, cuzz more often, I call my husband by a term of endearment instead of a name. I do call my children by the wrong name ALL the time.
I've never called my husband by the wrong name. Other people's names I get wrong fairly often. It takes me a fee tries to get it right when I've first met someone.

I have only once called my wife by my exes name, we were not married at the time and our relationship was still rather new. I'm very lucky she let it slide, as they are two very different people.

I often blank on people's names now though, instead of saying the wrong name out loud, I just stutter, trying to find the right now to say.
My partner, no. My sisters, all the time: "Iv..Vii..Ka..I mean Miki".

Yes I have called a partner by the last partners name.

I find it very embarrassing, and it has also been done to me though I laughed at the time as he did not even realise what he had done.

I have a few times and it's very embarrassing
At times
I just called donjo Rice. My bad. Responding online can be tricky because I find it nice to put the name to a face, as they say, but you can't always do that on the net.

often. its embarrassing
I don't think I have called my husband by my previous husband's name. If I have, he hasn't made a fuss.
I sometimes call people by the wrong names. I try to use people's names when talking with them and that can be a consequence. I just appologise and try to use the correct name in future.
