Sometimes the bottle of a perfume is so beautiful that one may be tempted to purchase just for the bottle.

Have you ever purchased a perfume for it's container? Do you collect beautiful bottles?

No, never. My perfume is a blend of essential oils so it just comes in little amber glass vials. I can see why people like beautiful bottles but I'm not into collecting things like that myself. I have small children and stuff gets broken a lot, plus it's more to dust.
I admire the beautiful bottles, but perfumes are so expensive that I wouldn't buy a perfume just because it comes in a fancy bottle. I have seen collections of beautiful bottles at some peoples' houses, and it looks lovely if it is displayed in a nice way.
I don't buy perfume full stop, and I certainly wouldn't buy it for the bottle. If I buy something that comes in an attractive container, I might keep it, but I wouldn't buy it it solely for that reason.
nope it all is about the content
No, I don't particularly wear perfume. But there are some very pretty perfume bottles out there.

I did once.
I have to admit, the package is important.
Otherwise 'what's the point'?
I don't really collect, but if it was something very lovely I sure would buy it, depending on the cost.
Perfume and beauty go hand in hand....all about not just the fragrance, but how it is captured.
Must admit I do love a pretty perfume bottle, but the perfume itself has to be good too. My favourite at the moment is Marc Jacobs' "Daisy" - love his perfumes and bottles.

I was about to answer, of course not!
However I realise that I have not much on my bathroom bench but I DO have a Salvador Dali perfume bottle.

Bought it some years ago purely because I love Salvador Dalis art, and this was a nice bottle!

So, yes I guess I have bought perfume for the bottle, but I generally buy it for the scent.

No, & no!

I've bought the same brands' for decades', as they suit my skin perfectly!
If a nice bottle is part of that, so be it.

My faves are:

L'Air du Temps (Nina Ricci)
Arpege
Madame Rochas

Also like Revlon's 'Fire & Ice', Yardley's 'Lavender', & '4711'.

Enjoy a nice splash! Feels soooooo good!
