We are very lucky, and have two pool areas in where we live. They are looked after once in the morning and again at night.
No need for me to go to Big Public Pools.
Not a big fan anyway.
I love the way ours looks at night, with the lights...
We used to practically live at the poolside when we lived in Germany - the summer temperatures could get very high and the open air pool was a great place to hang out! We had to get there early to be sure of a parking place but there's was plenty of room inside to play, sit and swim :)
Last time I went to one was in winter and I ended up with a rash, and have not been to a public pool since.
When I swim I want to do laps, and if there are a lot of people, e.g. in the school holidays, I would rather stay home as I find it boring and I worry what all the kids are doing in the pool! I know it is chlorinated however the thought just turns me off public pools.
