I suffer from the symptom of [ S.A.D. ]
It is a real Disorder, and it is most unpleasant to say the least.
Just about everything in my house is Light and bright...From white furniture, to white walls and curtains, and very light carpet.
White - White - White!......I can not be around any dark colours, and Grey days are dreadful for me.Makes me think the world is closing in and I just pray for Sunshine.
When the Sun comes along, I am a whole different person.
Being born in England, it was the norm of grey days, and being a person who loves colours and pictures, the visual grey 'does my head in big time'.
On the other hand I do love a good storm....just now and then, at night.
Oh! jonaj, I can understand what you mean! A few grey days are ok, BUT when it goes on for weeks at a time, nope, need things around me that are B R I G H T!
I can 'relate' to the Sun worshippers in ancient/medieval times!
A day where the sky is grey does not depress me. Sometimes these are good days for taking photos (if it isn't raining) as there are no shadows and the sun isn't glaring which can spoil a shot. However, if I lived somewhere that had numerous grey days in a row or even weeks of dull weather I think it would depress me.
Depends how long I've been looking at them for! In the middle of the wet season when it's been raining for 6 weeks straight I start to get a bit depressed. But as a general rule I don't mind grey skies.
