Love him and went to a concert the other night

I loved the concert, but it was not FREDDIE.
He was a brilliant man who wrote some brilliant songs - one of the best!
My favourite is perhaps We Are the Champions.
Yay, Freddie and Queen!

I have seen that one too, Finy. The singer played a very good Freddie. It was a most wonderful night. If it comes back to Melbourne, I will be going to see it again.

it iS coming to Melbourne -check out the link I supplied - at the bottom it will give dates....

I love Queen and I think Freddie Mercury is a musical genius. I love all their songs, and Freddie's quirky personality and great stage presence made for a great performance. I have seen the show to which Finy is referring, there was another similar show we saw, and of course, We Will Rock You the stage musical featuring their music. There is a Queen Tribute band doing the pub and club circuit which we went to, but I would advise against it. Their Freddie was a joke, and didn't even look or sound like them. They are an insult to a real Queen fan. Long Live Queen and Freddie
Lluxi - this guy in the show did not really sound like Freddie but his movements were brilliant and some of his mannerisms - read the link I supplied - but the music is good nevertheless and costumes are the same as Freddie wore.

Yes. I have seen the show in 2015, Finy. I suppose it is the same singer.

I have heard his music, and like one or two...as far as a fan, well I would say I didn't follow him or the band.I like the song ''we are the champions'.
Yes I really like a Queen. They have some great songs. I saw the musical a few years ago and it was amazing.

He had the best voice of any one i know, I loved his music....

I really don't have any strong feelings regarding Freddy Mercury, I think he was a talented performer.
What absolute ICONS in the entertainment field!! I grew up with their music and have continued to enjoy them immensely.Freddie Mercury, of course will never be replacable, but the band have allowed some extremely talented singers to front their music. Even Elton John has had this honour!!! They shall live on in our hearts and those of future generations for as long as music is alive!!!
YES, AND STILL DO. WHAT AMAZING TALENT AND FM WAS A GREAT SHOWMAN.
Yes to both. They just don't make music like that anymore. I play for my kids so they can have a boogie.
My dogs think I have lost the plot when I play "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" . . . I mean, you have to sing and dance along . . . don't you?? heehee.
by Rice
I know what you mean!! My dogs are the same!

Most definitely I do! You wouldn't have known they were trained in classical music. Bohemian Rhapsody I love.
No. He revolted me.
Yes I ythought he was great and his music was good.
And cue the bad memories.

Unusual fellow, but what an incredible talent! Didn't really like his stuff outside Queen though. Probably my favourite group of all time? Songs like Killer Queen & Somebody to love - absolute genius! Then of course there's Bohemian Rhapsody - a timeless hit. His passing was a terrible loss to the performing arts industry and Queen will never has not never will sound the same again.

YES, I just LOVED them! FM was a genius! It was such a waste of his wonderful talent, when he died so young. A bloody marvel, he was.
Absolutely! The guy was a Legend and the music lives on!
Yes I loved Queen and Freddy Mercury. I saw them in concert once. They were supreme showmen.
I recently saw a documentary about Freddy and unfortunately it made me like him less as I saw a side of his personality I didn't like. I still admire his great talent and think his death was a sad loss.
I loved this group, and mourn the death of the wonderful singer who lead them. I will sing along to Bohemian Rhapsody whenever I hear it played.
