Yes I did. My husband and I have a big family so we wanted to book a reception to enjoy our first meal with the special people in our lives. It was one of the best experiences of my life, with lots of music, food and happy memories.

Yes, it was great. It was a nice and intimate setting. No great fan fare, just simple and nice.
Yes I did on both times.
Low key for both, but a lot of fun.
I couldn't imagine just going home after...wow!
My wife and I held our wedding at an inn in Canmore, Alberta which is just outside of Banff National Park. The inn is called A Bear and Bison Inn. The owner used to be the head chef on a cruise ship, and now he runs this inn which specializes in weddings. He catered the meal after the ceremony and everyone had a great time. So yes, we had a reception of sorts, but there was no reception hall, there was no real ceremony to it (no speeches, no dancing), just a big party at the inn. It was fun.
I had a great reception. We didnt do any dancing but it was great just the same. I made my own cake.

Yes, at THE top-notch place in the City! It was a beautiful reception. All was just spot-on! Some of the read-out Telegrams were very funny! My new husband & I enjoyed it immensely.

My mother was extremely ill with cancer, but she had a ball at her table with her friends! She died exactly one month later, in the knowledge I was being well looked after by my loving husband.
Yes, I thought everyone did. We had ours in the hills at an old house with 5 acres of beautiful gardens ( we had our photos taken there in the gardens). We had speeches, dancing, and lots of lovely food. We had a power failure during the night (not for very long), and one of our friends was walking around with the candleabras so we could see. It was memorable, and a beautiful, romantic night with all our friends and family. We even had some people come from overseas. Very, very special.
