I don't take myself too seriously. In fact, I think it's imperative that we laugh at ourselves.

When something embarrassing happens to you, can you laugh at yourself or do you take yourself seriously?

I laugh at myself all the time. It's the only way to live. My husband is a little more uptight, and is easily embarrassed by me.

I have laughed ...and at times even cried for things that have happened.

I think we just have to be a little more easy going.
Life can be quite hard, so yes lets just have a little sense of humour more I say. :)

It depends what mood I am in, and who is around me at the time, but most of the time, test I laugh at myself.
I laugh at myself constantly! I'm very good at 'taking the mickey' out of myself!
Got to laugh, or you cry, & I'd rather laugh! Uses less muscles, too!

I can also take myself seriously, if the situation requires it.
Yes - possibly even too much at times

I can laugh at myself. However, I don't like others to initiate laughing at me or making fun of me. Then my feelings get hurt.
Bit of both.
Yes, I can laugh at myself!
and so can others!

Well, there's just so much to laugh at. I fell into a garden bed with a shopping trolley once . . . nuff said.

Hahahahaha, how in the world did you manage that, Rice Paper?
by Vee
Well, t'was brillig and the slithy toves, no, wait, that was another time. I was out with my best friend, shopping centre had been enlarged and remodelled, two broads with no sense of direction, got lost in the new car park, started to feel a bit of a downward drag happening, tried to block the front wheel against a garden bed . . . momentum ceased suddenly . . . *flip* . . . me and the trolley resting in the garden bed! Could not get up for laughing. Enjoy :-)

Oh my gosh, Rice! Mental images! So funny! I do hope you were alright though!
by Vee
Yes, Vee dear, I was honestly fine . . . the garden bed was well mulched. LOL!!
