I am a big fan of science fiction television programmes. I've been watching them since I was 7, and have a list of my favourites. First is Star Trek Voyager; it was the first sci-fi show I ever watched, and got me into everything else that from then forward. My second favourite is The X-Files. I was watching Mulder and Scully go up against mutant monsters and abducting aliens long before I was old enough to do so. My third favourite is Stargate: SG-1. The humour, light heartedness, and camaraderie also boosts my mood.
I used to watch sci-fi my Dad, who always likened me to Susan Ivanova in Babylon 5. I think that would be one of my favourites, along with the first Star Trek I watched, which was The Next Generation. But, my all-time favourite is probably Stargate - SG1. It's on Lovefilm just now, and we are watching the whole lot again. It has stood up to the ageing process not too badly, and is still just as good.
My favourite of all time is the Australian series Farscape. The way the aliens in that show were done (with puppets courtesy of the Jim Henson Creature Shop and really good makeup and prosthetics) put Star Trek to shame. Then there was the acting, the imaginative storylines (again, in contrast with Star Trek, which has so many good ideas that just never go anywhere). It also has Scorpius, the creepiest, most interesting ever tv villain. And Ben Browder in leather pants.

My other favourites are Firefly, The X Files and Battlestar Gallactica.
Futurama!
Futurama!
Startrek - the next generation with the yummy Patrick Stewart. Battlestar Galactica was good too when they had those evil cylons in it - if some of you remember that
We love to watch sci-fi! Stargate SG1 was awesome and I absolutely loved the Atlantis and Universe versions too. X-Files was probably the first TV series I ever got "into" at all. Thinking that I need to get my partner to download them all so I can take a trip down memory lane! We've also watched the new Battlestar Galactica which I loved. I've never watched Star Trek, might have to give it a go!
'Outer Limits'.
'The Rod Sterling Show''.
'Wandjina'.
'Jet Jackson'.
'The Invisible Man'.
'Thunderbirds'.

Don't like ANY of those from about 1970 onwards, for TV viewing. At lot of them are just beyond the pale.

Farscape would probably be my all-time favourite. Such a different take on the sci-fi theme and it's Australian! Also like the original Star Trek - Mr Spock is my favourite there; gotta love all that logic! And with the 'modern' Star Trek Jean-Luc is my favourite Captain. I also really like Stargate Atlantis - but that may be more for Ronan Dex - mmmm, yummy! Now that's what I call a man! :)
I love just about anything science-fiction, but of some of the less successful ones, like V, Space Above & Beyond, and Farscape are among my favourites. Even Space precinct was a little different.

Love Sci-Fi. Babylon 5, Farscape, Deepspace 9 and Voyager being faves. Great escapism
