Batwings are the skin that hangs from your arms generally as you get older.

Do you have batwings yet?

I think most people over 50 get these?

I certainly have them though they do not look as bad as those in the photo -I'm not sure if being thin makes these bat wings look worse than on someone who is overweight.

However I DO have them and have had them to a small degree for a number of years -probably 15 years...

Not yet, but they're coming. Will have to give it another decade or two but it's part of life.
I thought only women got this!
by Finy
Everyone gets it Finy, but only women are told NOT to get it lol

Megg's got it! Men hide it with t-shirts and long sleeves, but we get them too.
I actually had to go and have a good look in my mirror to compare my arms with those in the photos!!! Ha ha ha ha!!!! I am now able to proudly say that as yet,I do NOT have the dreaded Bat Wings!!! But do give me time?!!
I am sitting here chuckling with delight at this question! I had never even thought about this ailment till now!!!!
I don't but I'm fairly sure I will have! I have quite fat arms at the top which already wobble a bit so not long now till they look like bat wings. Maybe if I never lose weight, they will still chunky and not too wingy.....
nips off to eat some cake*
Oh Verity -what a very good idea -if you lose weight you will definitely get them -LOL

sigh* More invented body parts to make women feel inadequate and ugly!!!!

I just have arms with skin. They'd be weird without skin I think!
Bravo!!! who cares anyway, and why should we, that's if we have them of course. :)

I wish you good luck! I have them and for a long time now... My sister in law, slim sporty beautiful, 58 but phisically looking a teenager, really, well, she has them too! There is justice in this world...heheheh

Yes unfortunately though mine not as bad as some but at nearly 68 it is inevitable, hence no sleevless clothes anymore when out!

No I don't have these. I guess nobody that has become a senior citizen will be spared this anyhow.
Yes, I have had them for about a year and they are definitely getting worse. Funnily enough on Christmas Day, I was entertaining 2 girlfriends who were alone, and I noticed they have them too! I'm the oldest at 53.
Yes I have them, hence always wearing sleeves and preferably tight or lycra or stretch sleeves because they act as a sort of corset for them. it doesn't happen on the lower arms so yes, sleeves are necessary.
Yes, they're not too bad, actually.
Good enough to get me to my roost each night! Lol!
no I have Nana muscles

Yes. They are disgusting. I hate them.
Yes. They are disgusting. I hate them.
I have only ever heard them called bingo wings. Perhaps it is an English term because when I said this one day to my ocker other half he nearly exploded with laughter. I have them due to muscle wastage - used to ride horses and throw bales of hay and bags of feed around . . .can't any more. Bummer. Maybe they will fly me to the moon . .

i also used to lift bales of hay etc and now have a problem carrying my shopping - oh, how nice it is to get old and sick -LOL
by Finy
Maddening, isn't it ?!!

I have big arms unfortunately . They were quite muscular as I used to swim and work out. Now they are filled with fat. I am sure when I lose weight I will have batwings.
Yes, I do. Thanks for reminding me. I hate them, but stay they will. Our 41 year old daughter doesn't have them yet, but...when she does, those tattoo swallows she has on that part of her arms will...'fly, fly, fly'!
