Yes I am and really I don't know why -I am even scared of frogs -it must have to do with the fact that they move towards me or rather jump towards me -slow moving things like spiders are not as bad, though cockroaches are gross.
I was once up north in WA and the cockroaches flew...disgusting - I was petrified - or perhaps they jumped?
Anyway things, rather animals, that come towards me, scare me.
Children, yes. Other things, not so much . . .except YES! those bl**dy great grasshoppers!!! I don't think poms ever get used to the size of things here! Ah, frogs, how I love them. They are so adorable and feel like velvet. I always imagined they would be slimy, silly me. However, I do the right thing and wet my hands before I ever touch their dear skin. (nearly went pruny when I lived on 40 acres.)
I wouldn't be scared of a frog or grasshopper. I screamed the last time I saw a mouse as I was deep in thought cooking in the kitchen and a mouse appeared from nowhere. That did frighten me as it was unexpected.
I cannot say that I am SCARED,though I'd be lying if I said that I do not get a big surprise!!! I do admit that I dislike,(intensely!!)large grasshoppers when these land on me,but again,I am NOT scared of them!!! the last two nights I have had the most gorgeous green frogs coming inside through the door which opens to my fernery, and I simply adore these wonderful critters! They always have a smile on their faces, and I could never be frightened of these at all!!!
