I am not actually scared of heights however I hate looking down from heights.

It makes my stomach go queasy, and I have to move away.

This happens both in enclosed buildings and at the top of cliffs/mountains.

I usually now avoid going near the edge of cliffs even though they are quite safe with fences etc.

O M G !! Yep that's me.

Scared to death...Like to the point of my toes are all scrunched up in my shoes.
I have a grip on something, or someone....and keep saying''I'm sooooo scared''.
I am not scared of heights, despite slipping down the cliffs at Cape Schank in Victoria when I was 14 before any safety notices or barriers were erected!!! I actually rather like the sense of total abandon as I look down, though now I do like to have something to lean on!!!
Petrified. I avoid them where I can.

I am absolutely petrified, I will not stand near the edge of ANYTHING high, but I do not have any fear of flying in a plane. Strega
Well, thank heaven for you! I am exactly the same :-))

It's a perception of balance for me. I could stand behind a 50th floor window and look down (and have with my head pressed to the glass) but not from an outdoor platform.
I am not afraid of heights but I won't go too close to the edge unless there is some barrier there to protect me.

I'm not a fan of heights! About the 15th floor of a building is my limit - just can't go any higher!
My brain is not scared. Body is terrified and feels really odd.
lol...your brain tells your body.

Yes, if there is any chance to fall down. if I am watching down from a safe place, I might not be that scared.
If I am secure i am ok but if there is a real possibility of falling off I'll pass.

Scared to death of heights.
Yes, don't like heights at all.
No, but won't go near unfenced cliff edges, as you don't know how crumbly ground is beneath you!

One thing I won't do though, is a 'bridge climb'! Would scare the livin' daylights outta me, I think! Am not going to try doing it, as too worried I'd 'freeze' at the top!

'Plane travel? No worries! With nearly 4000 hours' up, & nearly 3 million miles, I'd be a tad concerned if I WAS! lol!
I have been since a very young child.

I have forced myself to confront this but I really do not feel comfortable unless I am in an enclosed area.

Yes, cannot do heights at all. When walking around castle walls in the U.K. I wanted to throw myself over the wall and started to hyperventilate so had to make a hasty retreat.
I don't think I am afraid of heights, when we went to the valley of the giants in Western Australia to do the tree top walk it didn't bother me.
