I am loving the start of spring here in England, lots of pretty little flowers appearing, blossom on the trees and leaf buds popping out of the branches all over. Birds are starting to go crazy and the air has that feel of hope to it. Lovely. Summer up here is not so hot so I'm not anticipating it with too much eagerness! But it will be nice just to have more daylight than we have in winter.
A Damart long, sleeveless Vest is marvellous, to keep back warm. Live in slacks & jeans with tops. Slacks Suits, which I love. Have various coats, sleeveless 'puffer' jackets, woollen sleeveless outer vests & scarves, lots of them!
Also can wear my RM's constantly! Oh! soooo comfy! Have stock ( oops! Pun alert!) standard low heeled tan, as well as black, so am 'shod' for all occasions!
I love winter. It's like going on holidays without leaving home when you live in Queensland. With the smell of wonderful comfort meals and soups cooking away in my slow cooker filling the air it sure is the best time of year.
Winter in Australia is already here, & no, I don’t look forward to it. I have to walk later in the mornings if I”m not going out, & it takes ages putting on all the layers of cloths, when I do go out.
We often fly from Sydney to Melbourne over the years, to visit our 2 little grand-daughters, & the winters are always much colder down there.
So...you'll be looking forward to winter then? So many layers of cloths to wear, (if 1 lives in Sydney or Melbourne) & it takes so much longer to get dressed if 1 is going out, which means I have to get up earlier to go for my walk or to catch the bus, if I'm going out!
