I used to like winter however I really dislike it now as seem to have to put more and more layers of clothes on and am still cold.

I say BRING ON SUMMER!

When it is winter I am looking forward to spring. When it is summer I am looking forward to autumn. I never look forward to summer or winter. One's too hot, the other's too cold.
Absolutely .. BBQs, beach trips, sun, I'm there!
Definitely, although my favourite season is actually spring, so I'm looking forward to that!
Yeeeessssss

I am now officially over the cold, my electricity bills, and cold feet, nose, and sooo looking forward to Spring!
Having said that, this is the first time we have not even had a real winter here in Sydney.

Nope, not at all! Last summer was so disgustingly hot here! I love winter, especially when it's cold enough to put the fire on - which is a very short period here in Queensland.
Not looking forward to summer. I can layer up and go out in the cold but the summer sun, I just cannot tolerate
Okay, I'm feeling the guilt. It is summer where I am. We only have another month left of it though, and then fall hits. My wife and I were just chatting yesterday about how it would be winter before we even knew it and we would need to get ourselves some ice skates or similar so we continue to get out once the snow starts to fall.
It's summer here, though some days you wouldn't know it! We've had a lot of thunderstorms this year and not enough time spent out and about enjoying the sun. We're moving back to England at the end of this month so I'm really looking forward to autumn but not for the usual reasons :)
where do you live now Verity? Dont know why, but thought you were Australian.

I'm in Germany, in the countryside (halfway up a mountain lol) outside Frankfurt. It's beautiful here but I'm ready to go home.
I just can't wait! I simply love Spring and Autumn in particular but Summer over Winter anyday too....Summers are getting hotter though for sure

Summer for me in the Tropics is the most uncomfortable time of year,so I never look forward to it!!! Give me winter anytime!
Oh Jules, I am the exact opposite. I am never too hot!
No I am not because last summer was zoo humid and so hot and seemed so looooooooong.
I hate the humidity and moved to Melbourne years ago, willing to put up with their hot north winds, just to escape the humidity of Sydney and Brisbane. However, the humidity seems to have taken over in Victoria nowadays.
I hate the humidity - it makes me irritable and lethargic, and it makes my hair frizz too.
Yes - I'm also looking forward to the end of me having a cold!!
Looking forward to spring, not summer and then I love the autumn.
I definitely am. Need some Vit D urgently!
Always. Give me spring or autumn any day but summer is definitely better than winter in Perth (too wet windy and cold in winter, but the summer days are generally tolerable and not often above 40 degrees). When I'm up in the Pilbara, it's the other way around - summer is 40+ and wet, but autumn spring and winter are dry warm and gorgeous up there, although swimming in the gorges is a bit too cold in winter.

Yes, Yes, YESSS, oh please take the cold away. My feet are freezing.
My fingers are freezing. I am wearing my entire wardrobe during the day, and I have stolen 14 doonas for my bed at night. My door hinges have cobwebs from not being opened, and the windows have jammed shut.
Errr, you get the idea. Thin blood I think, but I just can't get warm and stay warm unless the air is acutally warm(read hot). I am happily nude at home in winter as long as the heater is on toasty mode 24/7. It is just that my body can not tolerate the cold, even after years of midnight to dawn shifts as a youngun, a posting to Wagga and Ipswich, RAAF bases are in the worst cold places ever. But when I was in Darwin and Asia, summer all year long.

The warm sticky air, the storm seasons and the build up troppo fest, to the flash flooding and wild winds, all make it normal for me.

And let's face it, ya can't get an all over tan when you're all curled up and your shivering means the sunshine can't stay on one spot long enough to tan.

Even the blood bank are prepared with 3 heated blankets when I come in, but I must wait till after for that hOT coffee.
Yes I enjoy the heat and sunshine with blue skies.
If the temperature drops below 24'c I feel cold.
I would prefer the temperature to be between 24'c at night and in the daytime 28 - 34'c.
It is easier and cheaper to get cool than spending to keep warm.

Yes, you mean summer heatwaves, etc! I don't like winter, where 1 has to wear so many extra cloths, & we can't go to Melbourne as often in winter, because it's so cold, standing around the park with the granddaughters.
